Expertise: Marty is extremely knowledgeable in pharmacy law, having represented clients involved in the legal drug delivery system for over 30 years on regulatory and licensing matters, transactional and administrative law issues, and numerous other issues. He is Board Certified in Health Law by the Florida Bar and represents community, hospital, nuclear, sterile and non-sterile compounding pharmacies; national mail order, central fill, veterinary and specialty pharmacies; and other health care professionals and facilities, such as clinical laboratories, clinics, DME providers, and assisted living facilities. He regularly appears before the Florida Board of Pharmacy on professional licensing issues and has participated in the drafting and interpretation of many of the Florida pharmacy statutes and rules since the late 1980s. He also represents wholesale drug distributors, veterinary drug wholesale distributors, drug manufacturers, compressed medical gas providers, and other regulated entities before the Florida Division of Drugs, Devices, and Cosmetics. Marty appears before the Florida Board of Pharmacy, Department of Health; DBPR Division of Drugs, Devices, and Cosmetics; Agency for Health Care Administration (licensing and Medicaid); Agency for Persons with Disabilities; Division of Administrative Hearings; and represents clients before federal health care agencies including the DEA, FDA, OCR, OIG, and CMS, and represents clients with various audits. He is a frequent author and speaker regarding pharmacy law issues.
